Official Biography:
Savant is the alias of the Norwegian artist Aleksander Vinter. His first album “Outbreak” came out in 2009 under the electronica alias Vinter in Hollywood and was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy award. In 2010 Aleksander released the mixtape “MASKS” and on it was various projects including the first EP from Savant, called thrillseekers EP.

Aleksander Vinter is a prodigious savant with aspergers syndrome and a fracture of ADD. He thinks out songs in seconds and produces them within few hours. To this date Aleksander has composed/produced over 10,000 songs in various genres. Most notably metal, orchestral/classical, hip-hop and electronic music. Aleksander also draws inspiration from early game music such as NES, Sega, commadore64, amiga, atari and SNES. Being such a unique producer; open minded people embrace him and the weekly free music, though critics tend to critique the quantity and the fast rate of releases.

Tickets:  Per press release issued May 8th, 2013 via Facebook, Twitter, and the Paradiso Festival official website:  ”2-day passes for Paradiso Festival 2013 are selling very quickly and we expect the festival to sell out well in advance this year! If you haven’t purchased your pass yet, we recommend doing so as soon as you can so you do not risk missing out. Once all the passes sell out, no more will be offered.  Last year Paradiso Festival became the biggest dance music event ever staged in the Northwest and this year it will break records once again! Camping:  The Gorge Campground will open for Paradiso Festival on June 27th at 3pm and remain open through June 30th at Noon.  Camping passes are per vehicle, NOT per patron.  Premiere and Terrace camping are sold out, but general camping is available to purchase online here.  In the past, the Gorge has typically offered camping passes for purchase on site, thus allowing you to save money by not paying the Ticketmaster fee for camping.  EmeraldCityEDM inquired of USC Events as to the pricing for camping at the venue and was told that this pricing is determined by the Gorge.  EmeraldCityEDM has multiple inquiries out to the Gorge regarding the price and expected availability of camping passes for purchase on site, to no avail.  I will add this information to the comments section on this post and to the EmeraldCityEDM Paradiso Page if and when the Gorge responds.   Find all camping information on the Paradiso Festival official website camping FAQ page.

 

Reentry:  General Admission tickets do NOT include reentry (for the day entered), but VIP tickets include unlimited reentry.

BT at Q: Afterhours Show Added!

Great news:  Did you miss getting tickets to Stardust Events’ sold out BT show (first announced by EmeraldCityEDM in March) at Q Nightclub on May 31st, or are you between the ages of 18-20?  If so, then you’re in luck:  BT will be continuing the dance floor destruction at Q Nightclub on Seattle’s only Funktion One sound system at a special afterhours event at Q Nightclub!  The afterhours event will feature BT spinning a 90 min set from 02:10 am till 3:40 am, and is open to anyone aged 18 and over.
