Announcement: The Polish Ambassador coming to Neumo’s on May 17th!
Just announced by Neumos: Bassdrop Music and Neumos present The Polish Ambassador! Support by Glitch & Swagga, Sonny Chiba, and Tonzafun. $12 presale tickets will be available this Friday April 20th, 10AM at Moe Bar or etix.com.
The Polish Ambassador, aka David Sugalski, is also known musically as Ample Mammal. His style is not constrained to one genre, but instead incorporates all types of music within his “unique blend of electro-funked, glitch-tweaked, wobble-freaked breakbeats “! “No Genre Left Behind” is Sugalski’s motto. I can attest to this inclusion of multiple genres – I often share his music with a variety of people who are not familiar with electronic music, and have even shared a few of his tracks with my mother!
Per the official biography, the Polish Ambassador “builds all of his live sets from a monstrous stash of original drums, bass, synth, and vox lines”. The name “Polish Ambassador” comes from his claim to “be Poland’s ambassador to the Universe”. The Polish Ambassador’s latest album “Future, Sex, Computers” was released in April of 2011.
