Rather than pander to the purists or create music for DJs alone, Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 has always tread his own, distinctive path – perhaps best summed up by his phones-free event and label concept This Never Happened. The concept is a simple one: remove all phones and cameras from the event, get back to connecting with the music and the people around you. And it is one that has been embraced with passion by Lane 8’s dedicated fanbase and the dance community at large. In tandem with the events, Daniel’s output on the TNH label has stood out for its integrity and artistry whether on emotional epics like ‘Fingerprint’ or quirky upbeat groovers such as ‘With Me’. Always defined by a melodic touch, TNH is the culmination of a steady, assured rise over recent years. -RA

“announcing the Childish US tour!!!!!!! making this album was about getting lost in the experience of creative expression, and in a way that feels like a reflection of what we’ve been doing with these This Never Happened events since 2016. i don’t think childish would have come together the way it did, if i hadn’t shared so many joyous show moments with you all over the last 8 years. so as always, these shows will be TNH events where the dancefloor will be a phone and photo-free space – we will be partnering with yondr (phone pouches) for all of these dates. i have always felt passionate about TNH shows because of the incredible energy and connection we get to experience; it’s definitely the only way i can imagine bringing childish on the road. needless to say i am really, really excited for these shows!! -Lane 8

This show is a This Never Happened event. At TNH events, we do not allow any photo or video recording from phones or cameras. This policy will be implemented using Yondr pouches for your phones on entry. Any disposable or digital cameras brought to the venue will also need to be placed in a Yondr pouch. I believe that without phones or cameras, we can create a more positive and engaging atmosphere for all fans. Experience the moment, don’t record it, This Never Happened.
