Cosmjn arrives as one of Makes Me Human’s most anticipated artists of the season, direct from Sunwaves and following his remix work for our very own local Seattle / LA imprint Rhizome Records. With releases on favorite underground labels including Atipic (Romania), Playedby (Romania), Abartik (Switzerland), Subtil (Germany), & Eastenderz (UK), Cosmjn’s productions range from sensuous atmospheric minimal to interstellar breakbeat interventions. During the pandemic, Cosmjn released an expanding number of sonic experiments via his bandcamp, showcasing his ample skills in the production lab. Cosmjn’s b2b sessions with fellow Romanian Lizz have made him a fixture at the Sunwaves music festival on the Black Sea. Joining Cosmjn will be Recess, a founder of beloved Seattle collective Shameless, to provide an opening set. Fellow local Summit Dub will be on direct support to celebrate his 2020 release on Rhizome Records “Mithra AM” for which Cosmjn provided a remix.
