Dr. Fresch, Habstrakt & Destructo

Dr. Fresch: In 2013 after winning Insomniac’s Discovery Project Contest, Tony Fresch launched the Dr. Fresch project. His debut self-titled EP and innovative hip-hop remixes quickly exploded in the blogosphere. Dr. Fresch’s music weaves together elements of house, hip-hop, and midtempo to create a unique, forward-thinking sound. Over the summer of 2015, Dr. Fresch launched his semi-monthly mix series “House Call” which has since garnered tens of millions of plays. The Dr. Fresch brand has continued to grow with the launch of his record label “House Call Records.” Dr. Fresch plays a prominent role on the festival circuit with plays at likes EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Shambhala, Electric Forest, CRSSD, Electric Zoo, Splash House and Osheaga.

Habstrakt: Habstrakt, the alias of Adam Jouneau, is a French born, LA based DJ and Producer. He began his journey in music through playing guitar and keyboards in his youth before discovering dubstep in 2008. This discovery led him to pursue a full career creating quality productions, with releases on a number of prominent electronic music labels. Additionally, he’s become internationally renowned within the dance/electronic/house genre as he’s played major stages at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Lollapalooza Paris, and most recently, Main Stage at Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Vegas. His passion for blending visual arts, tattoos, and a creative aesthetic with music gives his production an inspired signature sound that’s unique and cuts through the genre as an up and coming artist. Over the course of his career, he’s amassed over 1,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify through popular releases such as his song, Chicken Soup, as well as been featured on Spotify’s playlist “Dance Rising” which features tomorrow’s hottest artists. As he continues to grow and gain notoriety, expect bigger and better things from Habstrakt this year and beyond.

Destructo: Where does one even start with Destructo? Over the decades, he brought Basement Jaxx, Lords of Acid, Deadmau5, Justice, and many more to mainstream exposure. At the height of the 2010s EDM craze, he focused on his electronic music and promotion of HARD events with friends like Skrillex and Diplo, not the least of which was his crown jewel, HOLY SHIP! He also remixed such diverse acts as Giorgio Moroder, Warren G, Depeche Mode, Rob Zombie, Major Lazer, and Rick James. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he spun as a DJ, adopting the moniker Destructo in the mid-’90s. He released a trio of EPs on OWSLA/Boysnoize: Technology (2012), Higher (2013), and West Coast (2014), which featured an impressive roster of guest spots by Problem, YG, Too $hort, Kurupt, Ty Dolla $ign, and Warren G. These days, he continues to curate amazing parties under the AMF (All My Friends) brand including festivals and a rave cruise known as Friendship.
