John Tejada: John Tejada is an an elder statesman of West Coast dance music, with a steady catalog of quality electronic music on some of the worlds most respected labels including Kompakt, Pokerflat, Cocoon, Plug Research, Seventh City, Playhouse, Defected, and his own label, Palette Recordings. His two LP’s with Reggie Watts as Wajatta “Don’t Let Get You Down” and “Casual High Technology” have received critical praise worldwide as “is a wonderfully head-scrambling, beautifully simple and technologically tumultuous affair, making the question ‘how did they get here?’ kind of inevitable” (NPR), adding “casual mastery of their respective crafts and creative spirit that has its own irresistible charm” (Pitchfork). Tejada is a regular dj at some of the worlds most renowned nightclubs including Fabric (London), Smartbar (Chicago), Watergate (Berlin). John is joined in the lineup by H&G label mates and a solid crew of local luminaries.
