Spencer Brown & Shingo Nakamura
New Year’s Eve Masquerade Affair: Bring in 2025 with elegance & sophistication, countdown & complimentary champagne at midnight.
Spencer Brown (3 hour extended set): Based in San Francisco, Spencer Brown is a leader in the new generation of progressive house and techno. Spencer Brown creates forward-thinking dance music that defies quick-shifting industry trends. His sound ranges from melodic, euphoric house to darker, stripped-back techno, while always encapsulating his progressive flow. Driven by a raw passion for music, Spencer got his start touring and releasing with Avicii and Above & Beyond while studying Electrical & Computer Engineering at Duke University. Spencer’s records soon frequented sets of tastemakers including Deadmau5, Sasha, John Digweed, Calvin Harris, Dubfire, Fisher, and Hernán Cattáneo. After two #1 progressive house albums (Illusion of Perfection [2018] and Stream of Consciousness [2020]) and a string of #1 techno releases, doors opened to touring the world, from major festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC, and Creamfields to headline club tours in India, Brazil, and Australia, from opening for Eric Prydz at Echostage to sunrise sets in Tulum.
Shingo Nakamura: Tokyo-based Shingo Nakamura has developed an iconic melodic house style that has reached every corner of the music scene. He is one of the marquee artists on Monstercat Silk, one of the largest electronic labels in North America and DJ Mag nominee for “Best Label” in 2022. He has also released on fellow leading electronic imprints Anjunadeep, Armada, and Colorize. Considered a global leader of the Melodic House and Progressive House genres, Shingo has received official creative, social, and radio support from legends in the space like Grammy-nominated producer BT, Armin van Buuren, Ilan Bluestone, Above & Beyond, Chicane, and Paul Oakenfold, and has received rave reviews in DJ Mag, including several featured “Top 10” columns. His four ‘Best Of Shingo Nakamura’ YouTube compilations have generated more than 10 million views and he has played shows at revered venues such as Tokyo’s WOMB, which draws thousands of fans.
