Spring has sprung and Seattle Psy Ops is returning to Club Cherry for our third edition of Mind Freq! MIND FREQ is a deep dive into the deepest underground sounds of psytrance, psychedelic techno, and psytech – a multi-dimensional aural journey that is beautiful yet unfamiliar. Come into our world and feel the power of Danley bass at Club Cherry! CLUB CHERRY, part of the Kremwerk – Timbre Room – Cherry Complex, is a queer-centric nightclub and live music venue, specializing in progressive electronic music and queer culture. We are humbled and honored to present a night of world class psytrance selected by some of Seattle’s favorite DJs in this iconic Capitol Hill venue!! Seattle Psy Ops events feature a video experience like no other! Immersive psychedelic video art by our resident VJ, Shado of PSY Global.
DJ TofuMeowMeow (Shiva Tempo, Seattle): Tia Hoang aka DJ TofuMeowMEow is a Tarot Reader, Sound Healer, and Love Scientist, turned DJ in the past year. She has devoted over a decade to studying the human potential, metaphysics and the healing arts. After a mentor introduced her to Psytrance music, she understood that Djing + Movement + Loving Intention + Psytrance was a way to allow herself and others to embody more magic, miracles and soul healing. Widely known for her paradoxical approach to life, unique community gatherings and goofy personality, Tia brings the flavors of her streets smarts, spirituality and sensuality under one roof. A studious and curious Cat by day, yet behind the decks, she’s a Soft Dom holding the container to bring people into their head and heart space to welcome more Divine Love in!
Hazel Zen (Emergence DNB, Team Brisk): Hazel Zen is often referred to as a pillar of the Seattle rave scene, with a raving career spanning two decades. She fell in love with the underground the moment she walked in the door to her first party in 1999 and has been gracing dancefloors with big smiles and good vibes ever since. Long known as a warm and caring spirit, her musical selections reflect her glow, transcending genres with uplifting, energetic and earthy vibes that move the booty, heart and soul!
Capt Tripps (Seattle Psy Ops): Get ready to groove with a local favorite and a master of the form, recognized by the international community for his ability to rock just about any dance floor! Our fearless Co-founder Joe Evans aka Capt Tripps has been in the game since the beginning. He has brought his sound to dance floors from Canada to Panama, taking beautiful photos and spreading good vibes along the way!
Bella Rose (Seattle Psy Ops): Based in the PNW, Bella Rose has become well known in the Seattle electronic music scene. With specialties ranging from progressive and deep house to melodic techno and trance, you are sure to see many flavors brought to the table in her performances. She loves to tell a story and is known to take her audience on a journey, experimenting with tracks old and new and exploring underground sounds. Her passion for the music and her community fuels her creative flow as she culminates experiences that are sure to keep you moving, while continuing to pay homage to the classics that inspire her every day!
