Bass Canyon returns to the Gorge on August 15th, 16th & 17th, 2025 with an optional Thursday night preparty! Excision presents the 7th annual Bass Canyon bass music festival at the beautiful Gorge Amphitheatre. Tickets and camping are on sale now, sign up for email updates at BassCanyon.com.

Campground Changes:
•Premier camping has been eliminated completely. Now all camping areas around the pivot will be GA, separated into a tents only area where Premiere used to be and the remaining area for tents and RVs without hookups.
•Gold camping now includes shuttle service between the pivot/GA camping and the venue entrance.
Shuttle Passes between the pivot/GA camping and the venue are available to purchase, regardless of camping level.
•Showers are now included in all campground areas.

Other Changes:
•A shuttle route to/from Portland has been added to the existing Seattle and Seatac Airport routes.
•VIP tickets will include earplugs, a pin and a lanyard, and VIP areas will be upgraded with more shade and seating.
•The Immersive 360 Dome experience will be expanded.

EmeraldCityEDM Gorge Camping Guide:

General:
•Camping is sold per vehicle, each vehicle can include up to six people (unless you are purchasing a type of camping that is restricted to a specific # of people such as glamping).
•All levels of camping are car camping, meaning that you set up your tents next to where you park.
•If you want to camp next to your friends, you have to drive in together. No exceptions.
•Free showers are included with all camping types. Terrace showers do not close and are available at any hour. Showers outside of Terrace are only open during the day and early evening.
•A general store is located at the main camping area entrance and sells ice, alcohol, sunscreen and other essentials.
•Afterparties, food trucks and vendors are in an area called “The Pivot”, near the main camping entrance.
•Quiet hours are officially 2-8am, with powered sound systems usually being shut down by security in the 2-4am time range.
•RV trailer dropoffs are available for an additional fee, request a RV dropoff accommodation here.
•Tent camping, formerly referred to as GA camping, is the most affordable option with the smallest footprint (15′ x 25′). No RVs are allowed in the Tent camping area. RV camping is a larger footprint (18′ x 35′) on the other side of the Pivot area from Tent camping which allows RVs but does not have any power hookups.
•Big Rig camping, formerly referred to as Gold camping, is on the venue side of the long path between the general camping area and the venue. It is much closer to the main venue and you do not have to walk a long distance to get to your campsite. Big Rig camping is not near the main afterparty area, and is usually a calm and quiet area to camp. It includes a shuttle pass for all members of your campsite to The Pivot.

Shuttle Passes:
•The shuttle pass is a transportation between the GA camping area and the venue entrance. It is a long walk that is a little under a mile each way, and can be exhausting. This walk is often referred to as the “Trail of Tears”.
•Purchase an express shuttle pass to get a ride instead of walking.
•Be forewarned that at the end of the event, long lines can form as people wait for the shuttles. Be prepared to potentially walk back to your campsite if you don’t want to wait for a long time. Shuttles from GA camping to the venue are generally easy to get as people do not enter at the same time.
•Premier camping has been eliminated completely. In the past, you had to purchase a different type of campsite to get the shuttle. This has now been eliminated and shuttle passes are sold per person.
•Do not purchase a shuttle pass if you are camping in Terrace, Big Rig, Grove, Oasis, Happier or Glamping camping, all of these options include the regular shuttle. Terrace has has its own premium shuttle with its own loading area near the ADA entrance of the venue.

Tips for Gorge Newbies:
•Parking is free, but you cannot leave a car overnight in free parking. Offsite parking is often available for much cheaper than an additional camping pass, see the Alternative Camping Options section below. Locals also occasionally offer offsite parking along Silica Road.
•You are allowed to bring in your own blankets, but not chairs. The Gorge’s lawn chairs are specially designed with uneven legs so you can sit on the inclined hill. They are available to purchase inside the venue as well as via presale.
•Proper supportive footwear is a must! If you have never been to the Gorge before, prepare your legs and calves for some pain. The majority of the hill is on an incline that can be hard to dance on. The grass is very nice for sitting and dancing on, but it is a hill. The main pit/lower area is flat and paved, but can get crowded.
•There is NO shade, prepare for heat and sun.
•The weather can be extremely unpredictable and windy. Stake your canopies down well. The temperature drops quickly as soon as the sun goes down, and can be roasting hot during the day. Most multiple day events at the Gorge have lockers inside the main venue to rent that are nice for storing warm clothing.
•Most multiple day events at the Gorge have unlimited re-entry.
•GA camping cannot physically sell out at the Gorge. The venue utilizes nearby agriculture and cattle fields, so if the regular campground area fills up – overflow camping is expanded into the neighboring fields. Do not worry about GA camping selling out, but most upgraded camping options sell out quickly.
•You do not have to purchase GA camping in advance, it can be purchased upon arrival. In fact, it is often cheaper to wait and pay on site to avoid excessive online service fees. You can also upgrade your camping upon arrival. You are allowed to purchase one additional vehicle pass for Terrace campsites, this must be purchased at the time of arrival and both vehicles must enter together.
•Cash is not accepted so bring a credit card or a tap to pay phone wallet.
•Do not reply on rideshare apps such as Uber or Lyft, they have extremely limited availability – if any. Some hotels in Quincy offer shuttle service to and from the venue.

Terrace Camping:
•Terrace camping sites vary in size; spots with the best views often have a smaller footprint. Sites with the best views are located at the very bottom, fill up quickly and are first come, first serve. If you want the best views, arrive early and be prepared to squeeze in.
•Terrace offers air-conditioned restrooms with real flushing toilets, as well as showers available 24/7. If the event is extremely hot, taking a cold shower frequently can be a lifesaver!
•Terrace also offers free coffee and donuts each morning at the shuttle stop.
•Terrace shuttles are the best and most convenient of all camping shuttle options. An air conditioned bus or van takes you between the top of the Terrace area and a special designated entrance. You do NOT use the same shuttle stop as the main shuttles. Terrace has its own shuttle and pickup/drop-off spot by the ADA entrance of the venue.
•The Terrace shuttle is the option that offers the least amount of required walking, however it can be a bit of a walk from the shuttle pickup and your campsite if you are further down the hill. If you are concerned with mobility, camp as soon as you enter the Terrace area and stay up high, camp in the large rectangular grassy field right by the entrance that is right next to the shuttle pickup.
•Overflow parking is allowed for one extra vehicle per Terrace camping pass, for an additional fee (typically 100-200$). You can have up to six people in your Terrace site in total. Overflow parking is not guaranteed, and both vehicles must enter together with all people present at the time of check-in.

Alternative Camping Options:
•A popular off-site option is Wild Horse which features spacious grass campsites, real toilets and a quieter experience. Wild Horse offers overflow parking for extra vehicles, cabin rentals and pre-sent tent glamping packages for certain events.
Sage Creek is a newer addition to the off-site camping options, and includes a restaurant, bar and free outdoor showers. Be sure to check their website before making plans as they do not offer camping for every Gorge event. Sage Creek is also available for private rentals if you have an extremely large group, and occasionally offers secure off-site parking for extra vehicles.
•Both Wild Horse and Sage Creek include a shuttle to and from the venue. Be sure to pay good attention to where the off-site shuttle pickup and drop-off spot is, it can be extremely difficult to find in the dark! The off-site shuttle stop is not well lit and has almost no signage. If you ask employees, they will almost always direct you to the Gorge official shuttle stop and not the off-site shuttle stop.
